Every year we descend on the biggest show in the business. The 2010 Specialty Equipment Manufacturer’s Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas takes place next week. We will be there on the show floor to bring you daily coverage of the big event.
All the big parts manufacturers, racing shops, and mod shops are there to show off their hottest new products. And best of all, they bring out the latest new cars to showcase them. This year they are bringing out a huge handful of new 2011 Scion tC’s all decked out. There will also be some modded out xD’s and XB’s too.
Scion has given us a special sneak peek at what will be in store until we can get our cameras on and in them next week. Check them out now, but come back all next week for hug photo galleries, videos, and news!
All Stretched Out xB by Cartel
Yep, they done cut it in half and added some in. The All Stretched out has an 48″ length addition for an 80″ suicide door opening. 20″ Demoda Aviator wheels fill out the corners and it rides on a custom Cartel air ride suspension all around. A number of structural upgrades help keep it tight including a TRD strut bar. Under the hood is an AEM intake, Cartel straight exhaust, STRUP header and a heavy duty clutch.
Tarmac xD by 0-60 Magazine
All rallyed up. In addition to all the visuals the spec sheet lines out a Quailfe limited slip differential and a Greddy performance exhaust.
There is a full rally race spec cage, carbon fiber hatch, hood and interior bits. Lexan windows lighten the load too. Custom coilovers and a Tien suspension ride underneath too.
Greddy 2011 Scion tC
Greddy is using this show car to demonstrate their new prototype T67-25G 8cm2 tuner turbo system for the new 2011 Scion tC.
The car is loaded with a new top spec intercooler, blow off valve and performance exhaust. Underneath you can expect a total race suspension too. More to come from the show floor!
2011 Scion tC Time Attack by Crawford Performance
What looks like next season’s race car, this one has a host of cool mods to do one thing…go fast!
Simple enough under hood it has a K&N air filter. The suspension features Tien super race spec coli overs. A TRD big brakes kit helps it stop while a set of 18″ Advan RG-D racing wheels spark up the look of the Cement Gray tC.
2011 Scion xB Squid by The Salty Dogs
The winner of the big Scion xB build off, this one is sure to be a show stopper. Built by our men in uniform, the Squid has a total custom paint job, 19″ Cadwell rims, Tien coilovers, and Powerslot brake rotors. Inside is a total build of a custom stereo system too comprehensive to list here. A nice leather interior job by Clazzio awaits too. We will shoot this thing to death with our Nikon you can bet!
2011 Scion tC Tuner Challenge by James Lin
James Lin is legendary in the world of custom builds at SEMA. The spec sheet for this baby is the longest of any of these cars here. So we wont even try to put it all down for the preview. The looks alone say a thousand words. This thing is badd ass. This has a full blown turbo system, suspension, brakes, interior and an audio system with as much power as that inter-cooled turbo motor. More to come!
2011 Scion tC Tuner Challenge by John Pangilinan
Like the car above this tC is a rolling testament to what the big boys are building. Looking slick as can be with its custom paint and body work, it has a Decadent TC2 tubo system and a full race treatment underhood. Suspension features a custom HLS setup with full coil-overs. And yes is has a rollcage too. Specs go on like a novel. This one will be one to see up close!
2011 Scion tC Tuner Challenge by Shawn Baker
Form follows function is the theme for this tC. A full Decadent turbo system powers it up. Huge 19″ Rotiform 3-piece race wheels roll it down the road. Huge custom Wilwood brakes and a full air ride suspension are packed under there too. Inside is a custom leather interior and a kicking stereo with too many components to list.
Come back all next week for daily updates, photo galleries and detailed stories for each one of these cars!
